Knockout Lashes

We get asked all the time about false eyelashes, and if they are worth it for the wedding day. Short answer: Yes they are! Lash perms and extensions are the next big thing in sexy eyes, so we definitely recommend them for the bride. If you already have a beautiful set of lashes, then think of getting them permed for the big day. This lasts up to eight weeks, so will look great for the honeymoon as well! If your eyelashes lack a bit of fullness then extensions are the way to go- you can put as many as you like on and they give a great 'wow' factor.

We always turn to Cerise Lash Bar on Richmond Road for lash expert advice, check out her website here for more information. There is also a recent article on the nzherald website on lash extensions and lash perms- follow the link here.

Melissa Rycroft & Tye Strickland

Don't we all love a happy ending! Melissa was first seen on the 13th season of The Bachelor- and was shafted as the runner up. Melissa and Tye got married on 12 December 2009 in front of 200 family and friends in Isla de Mujeres, Mexico.

Melissa is wearing a white satin organza over satin that Alfred Angelo designed. Her gown has a chapel train and the bodice has rhinestones, crystals and sequins. To view a similar gown designed by Bonny check our the Bonny 853 on our website. Her coral bridesmaids were also designed by Alfred Angelo, and we stock Forever Yours which have over 48 different colours to choose from and over 300 styles. Comfortable, stable shoes

What a week it has been.  We have been in and out of hospital with my son and a broken arm that hasn't mended properly.  The other more exciting thing this week is receiving the catalogue for the new styles of Benjamin Walk shoes.  So my product of the week is the combination of the two.  You need some very comfortable shoes for your wedding and a strap to make sure you don't fall over and break your arm!  So here are two of the new shoes we are expecting on the 28th of Jan.  Put them in your diary to come and try them on.  The styles are 262 and 277.  You can see them on the Benjamin Walk website and ours in the next week or so.
